MUSIC

We offer permanent guitar classes for children and adults, piano, violin, zampoña, quena, bandolin, singing, requinto, bass. Classes are held twice a week with a duration of one hour per session. Class periods are quarterly.

Guitar

Interpret songs of various musical styles, thus knowing the strumming and chords most used in current popular music. Improve hearing through a guided work of chord recognition and interpretation of songs in the form of plucking on the guitar. Learn guitar tuning methods and techniques.

Opening piano:  The initial level of piano is focused on young children of 5 or 6 years old and the objective is for them to become familiar with the instrument with the help of fun and alternative teaching methods to

That well prepare them for piano level 1.

Piano 1:  The Objective of Piano Level 1 is focused on older children (who already know how to read and write the alphabet) and their learning to play the instrument from the most basic, so that they interpret simple known or unknown songs, applying musical reading .

Piano 2: Piano Level 2 is focused on older boys and girls (who can already read and write the alphabet), who know basic sight reading of music and basic song interpretation.

Piano 3:  The previous knowledge acquired in level 1 and 2 is unified, including the reading of musical pieces and the use of both hands.

Panpipe

The panpipe is a wind instrument that has an Andean origin, especially from countries that make up the Andean highlands, such as Peru, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Colombia. It is considered one of the most important and representative instruments of the culture of the Andes.

Zampoña Level 1:The students learn the basic notes of the zampoña and learn the technique of the sicuriada

Quena

The Quena (from Quechua qina, kena, kjena) is a beveled wind instrument, similar to a flute. It is one of the oldest instruments on the American continent. The quena spread throughout the area of the central Andes.

In the requinto and bandolina class you learn about the different techniques that characterize the Ecuadorian style in rhythms such as albazos and sanjuanitos
